Our ExpertiseThe course International Relations and International Organisation (IRIO) is provided at the University of Groningen. The course has a unique position in the Netherlands, being an interdisciplinary study combining politics, history, economics, and law. Throughout the study, attention is paid to students' writing skills. In addition, students learn either English, German, French, or Spanish. Students of IRIO are characterized by being analytically strong, having a critical view, and taking information not for granted. One of the strong points of our students is that they are generalists, they are able to look at a subject from different perspectives. Students are expected to study all disciplines in depth.
